Regardless of the substrate – metal, plastics, or wood – ESS can help you achieve your desired finish quality while maximizing transfer efficiency. Our team of finishing experts can help you with everything from selecting the correct spray gun for your application to engineering automated finishing systems.

Liquid Finishing

From a one-person manual spray finishing application to conveyorized, automatic electrostatic applications, ESS has the expertise and equipment solutions to help you achieve your finishing goals.

Conventional Spray Guns/HVLP:

Airless/Air-Assisted:

The G15 air-assisted airless gun is designed for lower fluid pressure wood applications requiring a soft spray, while the G40 gun is designed for high wear, high fluid pressure applications. The guns have an adjustment knob that makes it easy to adjust the fan pattern width.

Graco’s PerformAA™ guns are available in air-assisted airless and airless options. Material-specific spray tips and air caps help achieve the desired atomization depending on the application.

Electrostatic Spray Guns:

The Pro XP manual electrostatic spray guns can be paired with air caps and nozzles to maximize transfer efficiency depending on the substrate.  From coating lighter, smaller dimension parts to large flat metal surfaces or cylinders, these guns can help you achieve a high-quality finish.

With adjustments to the air pressure, ProBell® applicators can achieve the desired spray pattern and atomization – with or without electrostatics – to effectively coat even complex shapes.  These applicators can be affixed to a robot, reciprocators, or fix-mount.

Paired with a pressure pot and cart, this manual electrostatic spray gun is an ideal solution for in-the-field finishing of metalwork, furniture, and large, flat surface areas. Three bell sizes can help achieve the desired spray pattern while minimizing overspray.

Plural Component:

This fixed-ratio system is portable, mixes only what you need, and comes in air-spray, air-assisted, and airless configurations to meet your specific spray volume and finish quality needs.

The PD2K system uses positive displacement to dispense your mixed materials at a consistent flow rate to minimize or eliminate the need for manual adjustments.  Fluid mixing also occurs close to the operator which facilitates quick flushing and color changes.

The 2KE system electronically doses and monitors the volume of material from the high- and low-volume sides to achieve the desired mix ratio.  This system, which is for manual applications only, can be instructed to fault out if the mix ratio does not meet the desired ratio tolerance.  The 2KE system is available in a meter- or pump-based configurations.  Optional accessories allow up to 3 color changes.

The 2KS system can be configured for manual or automatic applications, and can mix materials requiring up to a 50:1 mix-ratio. The system can be configured to support up to 30 colors and 4 catalysts.  A remote interface enables operator control inside a spray booth.

Powder Coating

From manual spray gun systems to conveyorized, automatic systems, ESS can help you implement a powder-coating system that improves transfer efficiency and achieves an even finish at the desired material thickness. ESS is a proud distributor of Gema powder equipment which is easy to use, durable, easy to maintain, and conducive to quick color changes.

The guns, reciprocators, booths, and powder supply in Gema’s automatic systems are monitored and controlled through an included touch screen that is easy to use. The systems are also modular and programmable to meet your specific needs.
